Foundation Fifteen was created out of love, resilience, and a desire to make a difference.
Founded in memory of Landen Russell Cates, who tragically lost his life at the age of 15, our mission is to ensure that no young person ever feels alone in their struggles. Landen’s passing was a devastating reminder of the urgent need for accessible mental health support, and we are committed to ensuring that no young person ever feels alone in their struggles. Landen’s journey was cut short by suicide, but his story is not one of sadness—it is one of love, resilience, and a profound desire to make a difference in the lives of people around him.
At Foundation Fifteen, we provide resources, mentorship, and financial assistance to at-risk youth battling mental health challenges. Our goal is to empower young people with the tools they need to build resilience, seek help before crises arise, and advocate for their own well-being. We believe that through education, awareness, and community support, we can prevent tragic losses like Landen’s and create a future where mental health is prioritized, and every young person feels valued and supported.
Foundation Fifteen was established in loving memory of Landen Russell Cates, whose tragic passing by suicide at the age of 15 left an undeniable mark on his family, friends, and community.
Landen was a kind, compassionate, and bright young man who deeply cared for those around him. His loss became the catalyst for change, inspiring his loved ones to take action and create a movement that ensures no other family has to experience the same heartbreak.
From a place of grief emerged a mission—to support, uplift, and empower youth facing mental health challenges. What began as a personal tribute has grown into a community-driven initiative dedicated to prevention, education, and advocacy.
Today, Foundation Fifteen stands as a beacon of hope, providing essential resources and ensuring that every young person has the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their circumstances.
